Mexican Food at the Blue Mesa
I just revisited the Fort Worth, Texas Blue Mesa located at University Park Village 1600 S. University Dr, ( MAP Two blocks south of I-3) and found the food every bit as excellent as in the past. The corporation has five locations in the Metroplex area. So far, the Fort Worth is my facorit one, but he one on Northwest Highway across from the North Park shopping center seems to be the most up-scale. Up-scale is not what I look for in Mexican food, but for some that is of importance.
They have won many awards, but by their "own countrymen" this one stand out to me...

This is not your Tex-Mex food, but more of a southwestern crusine. Current online menus are available, as well as a choiceof over sixty Tequilas from their bar.
They are used to "getting the business people served and back to their place of labor quickly," so the lunch service is usually excellent. One of their excellent offerings is the special lunch buffet featuring some of our famous southwestern dishes: fajitas, blue corn enchiladas, adobe pies, salads, desserts, and much more! All-you-can-eat for 10.95 Served 11 - 2 p.m.
How many fine dining places would even think of having this?
