I just ate at my first Tommy Bahama establishment this past month while in Key West, Florida and can recommend it as an Editor's Choice.  Where else can you dine and shop for one of America's finest clothing lines all in the same stop?

Tommy Bahama in The Woodlands Mall

"Signature items include Tommy's Coconut Shrimp, The Great Grouper Sandwich, Tommy's Rib Rack and The WhaJamaican Pork. The Island Cowboy, a tenderloin served with a port wine demi-glaze and roasted smashed potatoes and Crab Calloway, coconut-crusted crab cakes over a sweet chili mustard sauce, are two of the most popular items on the dinner menu. Top them off with a slice of Tommy's Pina Colada Cake or the Barbados Brownie -- the perfect way to satisfy a sweet tooth. Join us and relax, Life Is One Long Weekend!"

This straightforward course has eighty-foot tall pines and several lakes that pinch many holes. The greens are small and fast, and water hazards come into play on six holes. "GOLF Magazine" rated this course 90th best under the 1996 category of "Top 100 Courses You Can Play in the U.S." This outstanding public course is the home of PGA Tour's Shell Houston Open, the Texas State Open Championship, the 1989 USGA Women's Senior Amateur, and is a PGA Tour Qualifier Site. This course is a part of the multi-course complex at The Woodlands Resort, Conference Center & Country Club. This course, however, has a separate address, pro shop, and direct telephone number.
