Safari Motor Coach has given genetic engineering a whole new meaning.  Combining the needs of a much younger and more active generation who demand they be able to enjoy their passion for ATVs, motorcycles and dune buggies and still have a luxury base camp to which they can return after a day out on the trail, Safari’s all-new Compression Class A Luxury Motor Coach Toy Hauler is just the ticket. 

  A front engine motorhome/toy hauler, this luxury coach is available on a Workhorse or Ford platform with a gasoline engine. It is also offered on a Roadmaster Chassis  that is powered by a Cummins Diesel that’s also located in the front of the coach.  GVWRs are 24,000 lbs. for the Workhorse, and Ford and 28,000 lbs. for the Roadmaster Chassis.  The Compression is rated to tow 5,000 lbs.

 The Compression’s toy hauler rear cargo bay area (garage) is huge.  Nine cargo tie downs each rated at 2,500 lbs. can accommodate two full size ATVs and a couple of small ones, or several motorcycles.  The deck is dressed with an oil resistant composite material.  Diamond plate kick panels dress the sides of the interior cargo area walls.  Up front is a luxury high end coach that has everything that is expected from a high end coach.  It is well thought through, packed full of utility and very functional. 

The garage area is separated from the front by an interior wall with a lockable door.  However, when the toys are off-loaded the cargo area quickly converts into a luxury habitat that can include an LCD flat screen television and one or two queen size electric beds that stay tucked against the ceiling until needed.  The Safari Compression is capable of comfortably sleeping several adults. The garage area comes with a folding table and large overhead cabinets that yield huge amounts of storage.

An optional second curbside rear entrance into the garage is offered, making ingress and egress from the front and rear of the coach a smooth process. The rear wall of the gas Compression is hinged along the bottom and becomes a ramp for the toys when lowered. It’s rated at 2,500 pounds.  At the aft end of the interior deck on the gas unit is a slightly inclined plane that aids in loading off-loading toys.   The diesel Compression features a hydraulic lift (it’s also the rear wall when closed).  It has a cargo lifting capacity of 3,300 lbs.  Safari provides powerful rear roof line docking lights off the back to illuminate the rear of the coach should you arrive after dark and want to off-load the toys.     

The Compression comes standard with roof air, forced air heating and an auxiliary generator.  A refueling station option permits the toys to be refueled, thereby eliminating the need to carry gas cans. This system comes equipped with pump, hose, nozzle and a timer (safety feature) that will automatically shut the fuel station system off.

The gas powered Compression offers one floor plan with two slide-out rooms forward in the living area, one on each side. The curbside slide houses a full service galley while the driver side slide-out houses a sofa and dinette. The diesel powered Compression is available in three floor plans that can be appointed with one or two slide-out rooms. 

Safari’s offers a first of a kind interior configuration (both in the gas model and one of the diesel models.  They have created a center-of-the-coach galley island complex that separates the galley and dining areas.   On one side is a fold up counter where bar stools can be located.  On the other side of the island is a 3-burner LP cook top, cabinet space and mega amounts of counter top surface area.  Against the curbside wall is found the rest of this state of the art galley that comes with a two or four door refrigerator, dual sinks, microwave oven, mega amounts of countertop area, cabinets, drawers and cupboards.  A large private bath and water closet includes a porcelain toilet, lavatory countertop and a full size standup shower.  After a day of riding trails you can head for a hot shower before retiring to swap tales about the day’s events.
