Newport, Oregon might be a place you’d want to stop in and visit, especially if you are going to be staying at one of the Pacific Shore Motor coach Resorts.  Designed for class A and class C RV’s only, you’ll find the best of amenities when you pull into this resort. 

Oregon’s second oldest lighthouse, the Yaquina Head Lighthouse, built in 1873 stands as a sentinel overlooking the coastline.  At Newport’s historic waterfront you’ll find quaint shops, art galleries, and award winning restaurants.  Here you’ll discover a treasure trove of activities both outdoors and indoors which will endear this area to your heart and memory.  For those who think it’s too cold in Oregon during winter – temps average in the 50’s during the days, and 40’s at night;  having your motor coach and all the comforts of home will help warm you on days when the rain decides to linger.  At night while you slumber on your own pillow, listen to the waves lull you into a deep sleep. 

Pacific Shores Motor Coach Resort on the Ocean has 213 fully landscaped lots with individual concrete pads and picnic tables.  Full hook ups, dedicated on-site staff, outdoor pool for summer and indoor heated pool during winter months beckon you to go on and “get into the water” even when you can’t dip in the ocean because of the temperatures.  Beach access, hiking trails, health club, and a convenience store with deli and gift shop are just some of the highlights of the amenities you’ll find at this resort.

Like Newport, other cities and towns around this resort include Bayfront fishing, coastal drives, golfing, birding, aquatic life watching, and the list goes on.  Do you like treasure hunting?  Here on the beach access, tidal pools harbor sea urchins, sea stars, and much other aquatic life which can be seen sheltered in the pools.  Harbor seals, whales, and thousands of birds spend their days around the ruggedly carved cliffs of Oregon’s coastline.

Pacific Shores Motor coach Resort on the Ocean, is a purchase/rental property.  Lots are available for sale or re-sale, and to rent for those who just want to pass through this unique part of the United States. 

• All lots are privately owned. Most are available for daily rental.
• This is a motor coach-only resort. Coaches must be Class "A" or "C".
• Minimum RV length of 25 feet. Questionable coaches will be measured at the gate!
• Restrictions forbid rentals to all other types of RVs in the resort.
• Coaches must be approved/certified by RVIA. (Recreational Vehicle Industry Association).

Check Out Time: 12:00 pm (noon)
Check In Time: after 1:00 pm

• Daily rates are subject to 10.5% lodging tax. Monthly rates are exempt. Partial months prorated and taxed.
• Rates are based on four-person occupancy. (There is no charge for children under 5.)
• Each additional person: $5 per day ($75 per month).
• Maximum of 6 people and 2 pets are allowed on each lot.
• Rates include one motor coach and one tow vehicle.
• All rates include full hookup and cable TV.
• Owner's barbecues, light fixtures and patio furniture should not be uncovered or used by rental guests.
• You may be asked to move to another lot due to the unexpected arrival of the lot owner.
• Lots are assigned on a rotation basis upon arrival. We do not hold specific lots and do not pre-register any guests! Sorry, but the rotation is done by computer to assure even rental distribution to all owners and cannot be changed to accommodate rental guest requests.
• If you request a section, all attempts will be made to accommodate you in the section you requested, but cannot guarantee it.

Note: ORA (Outdoor Resorts of America) membership card must be presented at the time of check in to receive discount!  (Family Motor Coach 15%; ORA owners 20%).
Promotional marketing coupon use requires at least 24 hour advance reservation and guests must advise that they intend to use a coupon!  Other restrictions may apply on promotional marketing coupons!

Day Use / Visitors

• All visitors must be visiting a registered resort guest and must register with the office or guard shack.
• There is a 6-person maximum occupancy in a site at anytime. This includes all visitors.
• All vehicles must have a vehicle pass.

Reservation Policy

• All reservations require a deposit (check, cash or money order) equal to a one-night site charge; deposits should be sent within one week of making the reservation. A reservation may also be made and held with a credit card number provided at the time the reservation is made. No reservations are accepted without a deposit or credit card number.
• If a credit card is used to secure a reservation, the card will be immediately charged one night’s stay on the day the reservation is made. This one night stay charge is fully refundable if the reservation is cancelled at least 24 hours before 1:00 pm the date of scheduled arrival. Deposit is forfeited otherwise.
• The Express Check In program will charge the credit card used to make the reservation for the entire balance of your scheduled stay the evening before your scheduled arrival. This allows you to go immediately from the Front Gate to your site without any requirement to leave your coach or come into the office. Credit card receipts and all required paperwork will be given to you by the security or resort host at the gate.
• Memorial Day, 4th of July, and Labor Day weekends and selected local special events require a 2-day minimum reservation.
• Reservations guaranteed by a check, cash or money order deposit will not be refunded.

In the event that you must depart prior to the expiration of your stay, you may receive a full or partial refund for any full days not used, depending upon the circumstances. Please see the front desk for a determination.   Cash refunds are not given.

Deposits charged to a credit card will be refunded if the reservation is cancelled at least 24 hours prior to 1 pm of the scheduled date of arrival.
