We are talking some mighty fine dining, and lots of it! Of course, seafood is supreme in the Daytona Beach area – fresh and plenty of it! But there is more – and lots more to select from. Such as...

Such as perhaps my “finest“omelet ever.” I ventured where I had never gone and tried the Greek omelet at the Dancing Avocado Kitchen. Beyond a doubt, one of my finest breakfast dining experiences ever. The breakfast menu has a lot of variety to choose from. Reasonable prices, and great food! They serve breakfast, lunch, dinner. Location: 110 South Beach Street, Daytona Beach, Florida 32114-4402

While downtown Christina’s Beach Sreet Café is a delight to stop in for a lite lunch. Location: Christina's Beach Street Café, 246 South Beach, Daytona Beach.

The Cellar offers fine Italian dining. Menu The Cellar Restaurant is located in the grand home of President Warren G. Harding. Built in 1907 by his father-in-law Amos H. Kling, the Hardings used the home as a seasonal residence to escape the cold Ohio winters. The building is now on the National Historic Registry and owned by your hosts, Sam and Lina Moggio. Location: 220 Magnolia Avenue, Daytona Beach, Florida. One certainly won’t be disappointed by dining here.

The fine restaurant , La Crepe en Haut , will leave you with find dining memories long after the trip to Daytona is over.
“Based on the traditional French Nouvelle Cuisine cooking methods, the elaborate menu with eclectic influences, offers a wide variety for every taste. The same is true of our extensive Wine List, which has selections of the finest wines from France, California, and Italy.” Their web site provides a sample menu . This is truly a fine dining experience. Location: Fountain Square 142 East Granada Boulevard Ormond Beach, Florida 32176

FOR THE RACE CAR FANS – OR ANYONE WHO WANTS A SPECIAL PLACE TO ENJOY CASUAL FOOD AND NSACAR HISTORY!!! RACING’S NORTH TURN BEACH BAR AND GRILLE! Location: 4511 South Atlantic Avenue. Ponce Inlet, Florida 32127
Sitting on the 5,000 sq. foot deck one can almost hear the autos of the past as they made the turn and slid in the sand with motors roaring. This is truly a place where the past comes alive to the race car crowd. The food is also great, and live entertainment is frequently performing. For NASCAR and Daytona racing, this is where it all started.

“The races were held here from 1936 until the war, and continued with the first Grand National Race in 1949 until 1958 when the races were moved to the new speedway. You may find one of the Living Legends of Auto Racing dining with us on any given day. We are proud of our photo library that has been donated to us by some of the greatest drivers in history. The course was also used for motorcycle races and we are still visited by many of the great bike riders today.”
