One of the very special places in the West to visit is historic Jackson Hole, Wyoming. Just a few hours from Yellowstone National Park, this is a “natural” place to spend time visiting the unique stores, doing photography of the majestic Teton Mountains and wildlife that abounds in the area. Fly fishing is good in the Snake River and Jackson Lake. Winter offers some really great ski opportunities for various levels and especially the advanced.

 

My stay in Teton Village area of Jackson Hole was at the Teton Mountain Lodge and it was exceptional. The place was recommended to me by a friend who had been there on a ski trip.

I found the dining experience to make a memorable night. The food was excellent in every way. The desserts are a diner's delight to say the least!  I can recommend Cascade Grill House & Spirits to any reader.

West Yellowstone

 

  My time spent in West Yellowstone was in the Yellowstone Lodge. This is the second year that I have enjoyed their fine facilities. They have some of the best rates in the area and the rooms are large, kept very clean daily, and the staff is excellent in making your stay enjoyable. They have an excellent indoor pool and hot tub.   You just can't go wrong with these facilities!  All of West Yellowstone is within walking distance, and the park is just

minutes away!  I just can't say enough

good things about this lodge and the

staff.
