Jalousie Hilton Resort and Spa at St. Lucia

John C. Jones
Travel/Food Writer

Imagine looking out at dormant volcanic peaks that stand guard over the Jalousie Hilton Resort and Spa.  This is a paradise nessled among trees of coconut, banana, mango, papaya, and other tropical foliage.

This is a resort complete with a Learning Center of the kids between 5 and 17 years old.  The learning is centered on things pertaining to the natural environment of the island.  Adults will never tire of the unsurpassed snorkeling, scuba, and the luxurious spa.  This is truly a world-class dive center with endless shallow-water reefs abounding with coral and tropical fishes.  There is even a par three golf course that has holes in replica of famous courses around the world.  Golfing with backdrop of volcanoes, tropical jungle, and sea?  Tennis lessons are available, as well as deep sea fishing, watersking, jet skiing, and swimming.  There is a disco center complete with pool tables, dancing and other fun.  Complete laundry services also available.

Fantastic rooms, unforgetable dining.

There are 325 beautiful acres with four restaurants cantering to sixty-five villas, thirty=seven suites, and 12 special Sugar Mill Rooms.   Each of the rooms are surrounded by tropical flowers and trees, splendid sea and mountain views, cool tile, high ceilings, and some have their very own private pools.

Nearest airport is the Hewanorra International Airport, just forty-five minutes from the resort.
