Seattle is rich in music and the roots are deep! Very deep! Among places to go- There is the old jazz district along Jackson Street in the central area the International District. There are shows and performances in numbers of current live houses, jazz clubs, music festivals, and classic halls of music. Spend time exploring the sites in Belltown, as well as the historic neighborhoods of Pioneer Square and Bullard.

Hmong New Year in the fall
Folklife on Memorial Day weekend
Bumbershoot on Labor Day weekend (more than 2,500 regional and international artist gather).

Avenue S., Dick’s Drive-In 115 Broadway E, and the Eagles Auditorium NE Corner of 7th Avenue. All of these have music to enjoy, or historically related to the historic music background of Seattle.
