Long lines for embarkation and disembarkation, charges for each glass of wine at your meal, charges to get into the specialty restaurants, obstructed views, non-private balconies, all these may seem like negatives when you’re looking into which cruise line you’re interested in and where you’ll be cruising. Many people just want to cruise and explore the exotic ports and countries they’ll be seeing. “Just get me there” is the idea of those who don’t mind taking a cheaper cruise or “mass-market” cruise. On the other hand, there are those who want to be catered to or at least feel as if they are receiving celebrity status attention. That’s when a luxury cruise fills the need.

One such cruise line which fits the luxury market is Silversea. Hosting four cruise ships with private teak balconies, plus spacious suites, and staff-guest ratio of 1:2, this is the cruise line you’ll want to experience especially if you are going on your first cruise. Silversea cruises are intimate and accommodating. A “spa on sea” environment is what you’ll get if that is what you seek. With any cruise, what you put into it is what you’ll get out of it.
With Silversea’s cruises you can be assured of the ultimate luxury holiday. When the booking is completed and you embark upon your luxurious journey, you’ll be comforted in knowing that this trip is all-inclusive with the fare covering all onboard gratuities, complimentary wines and spirits, worldwide itineraries, varied voyage lengths, award winning suites, with private verandahs, multiple dining venues and open seating, excellent service, and opportunities for some world class golf experiences."Silversea's Silver Links 365 golf program includes:
-
Professional instruction from a PGA-classed pro in 22' x 10' full-motion golf cages with night lighting
- A VHS video of your lesson to take home with voice over by our golf pro
- Complimentary clinics and demonstrations
- Putting contests and demonstrations for all ranges and abilities
- The finest Callaway clubs and other equipment rentals
- Escorted Excursions - our golf pro will escort you to the world's most challenging courses throughout each itinerary. Outings include all transfers, power-drive carts when available, caddies or pull carts (Escorted excursion pricing available three weeks prior to sailing.)"
To me, travel is all about – “experiencing the world one moment at a time.” Taking a cruise is one way to acquire those experiences. Another idea I like about cruises are the nooks and crannies on a ship. Often I’d see a couple just sitting quietly together looking out at sea, or gently kissing, and I’d get wistful, wishing I had a sweetheart who enjoyed doing just that – sitting quietly holding hands and gently kissing occasionally, enjoying the beauty that surrounded us.
Oh well, for those of you who are like me, there’s more to do than just sit quietly and kiss on a cruise! I’m talking entertainment (casinos and shows), elegant meals with European trained staff and chefs, enriching events and exploration all await each one at his/her own level of ability for enjoyment! Dine in the elegant Restaurante’ or dine in your bathrobe al fresco on your private balcony. Photo-waiter
