Brenham, Texas, the unique community of 15,000 houses some of the best Bed and Breakfast experiences of the Lone Star State. There is plenty to experience in the area with Washington-On-The-Brazos, Independence, Blue Bell Ice Creameries, historic downtown, the near-by Bush Library at Texas A & M University, the Antique Rose Emporium, Chappell Hill historic area, Burton Cotton Gin & Museum, and plenty more to see and do.

 

Brenham is located 70 miles west of Houston, 100 miles east of Austin, 195 miles north east of San Antonio, 35 miles southwest of Bryan/College Station, and in the heart of historic Texas!

Just outside of this unique town is the exquisite and picturesque Lillian Farms Bed and Breakfast.

 

Leaving from Brenham, the brief and lovely trip is uncomplicated, and only minutes away. Take Hwy 290 east (towards Houston) to Chappell Hill, turn left onto FM 1155 and go 8 miles. At T-intersection, turn right onto Fm 1155 and go 1/2 mile. There one will find the stunningly magnificent main house towering from the landscape as you look to the right through the white stone entry, and down the lane.

 

Two hundred and thirty acres of beautiful rolling hills, houses the setting for this unique B & B. Although this is a working cattle ranch, the house was build for the particular purpose of being a bed & breakfast.  The graceful Victorian style mansion conceals the modern facilities built to make this B & B stay one of the most enjoyable and relaxing ever.

 

The setting is a natural for weddings. The facilities can accommodate a group of 500 guests and a dinner of 75 people, for a never-to-be-forgotten wedding experience in this breathtaking setting of hill country beauty. Food? Barbara Segal, innkeeper and owner, along with award-winning Executive Chef Dan Phalen produce a splendid and superb epicurean weekend. Your experience will begin Friday evening as you are greeted with palate-pleasing hors d'oeuvres and local Texas wine from nearby Pleasantville Winery, and the elegantly appointed kitchen facilities produces more magic as you enjoy your stay.

 

 

Lillian Farms has 6 guest rooms each with a own private bath. There are king, queen and twin suites available. There are plenty of unique and charming decors from which to choose.

Detached, in the back area, the two story Carriage House is a private suite which includes it's own entertainment center, mini-bar, microwave, and refrigerator.  The antique style wood floors, cathedral ceilings with old wooden exposed beams, bring a charm and warmth to this very special place.
