Got Beads? It's Mardi Gras Texas Style! This year it's bigger and better than ever, and for 2 days! Friday & Saturday February 1st & 2nd in the Automotive Building (1010 First Ave.) at Fair Park in Dallas. This event is an all ages event so come on out for a full day or weekend of Mardi Gras Fun...TEXAS STYLE!! Featuring: 38+ artists performances on four stages, including Cross Canadian Ragweed and the Randy Rogers Band.

Feb. 8 - 9 Eagle Sightings:
Event time: 6:30 a.m. to Sunday 5 p.m. Eagle A special event to consider is the annual Eagle watch at Emory, Texas. This year is the 13th year of this festival which is filled with seminars, Native American art, live music, and water boats and barges to tour Lakes Fork and Tawakoni for a chance to see the over 50 Eagles that nest in the area.
