See my previous article on my golfing experience.  The Westin Maui looks towards the mountains across Kaanapali Golf courses home to the Resort South Golf course, and the Tournament North Course.   The spectacular 6,994-yard, 18-hole Tournament North Course was designed by Robert Trent Jones, Sr. and has long been considered one of Maui's best. Its sister, the 6,555-yard, 18-hole Resort South Course was named one of North America's top 'Women Friendly' courses in 1997
