Unique Magnetite Bracelets

in

West Yellowstone, Montana

John C. Jones, Editor

Being a writer for golf, fly fishing (and participator), and other sports that involve a lot of use of the “joints,” when there is a product that might help people live  more “pain free” I listen.  When walking through the main section of West Yellowstone I met Dusty   Gallagher who is one of the people involved in the sell of magnetite jewelry.  First, the beauty of the products caught my eye on the large display table in entrance, near the sidewalk at the      “open  front mall” located in the second    block on Canyon street (main).   Before    long, Dusty was telling me with his usual  level of excitement, about their product.

Magnetite is a natural magnet, and naturally (pun intended) that puts it in the category of products that golfers and other sports-active people use for “pain control” – along with copper.  The color is gray to black with a metallic luster, which produces an attractive and beautiful product.  South Africa, Germany, Russia, and in the USA  mostly.  Usual cost of a bracelate is around $25.00 depending on other stones added and number of bands.

The company Dusty is associated with,  Pain Bee Gone,    has found ways to make the material into very attractive necklaces, bracelets, anklets, and other jewelry.  They have mixed various other stones in unique combinations of design to produce some very, very lovely jewelry.  Not to mention any medical benefits one might also receive from wearing the jewelry.  There is seemingly an endless variety of stones to be added into the jewelry from Tiger Eye, on.

Dusty, Sales/Marketing Manager for Painbgone.com, is a SMU graduate with a degree in performing arts.  His charming wife, Onyx,  is VP of the company and is the main design coordinator.

Dusty and Onyx have a history of working with beading through a program they started years ago for the homeless across the country "beads for food"  where people came in and exchanged their beads to receive food.  Dusty speaks to various groups on his travels and experiences with the homeless and continues to manage the marketing side of www.Painbgone.com.

As a golfer and fly fisherman, I have had elbow and shoulder pain problems for many years and have worn the usual things that sportsmen wear for pain management, in addition to those you rub on, but while wearing my magnetite bracelet during my June ’05 pilgrimage  to fish the Firehole River in Yellowstone National Park (I wore it 24/7) I was almost completely pain free, and upon return home to Texas continued to be pain free for the first time in  several years.  If in  West Yellowstone, drop by the “open front mall on main street (Canyon Rd)”  and take a look at all the unique  magnetite jewelry designs.  Items can be ordered by mail by going to the web site, or call 602 549-2643.

Happy Traveling.
