Celebrity Cruises, Ltd.

Rhonda Pipkin

Celebrity Cruises, Ltd, a merger between Celebrity Cruises International and Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines features the deluxe 710 passenger, Azamara Journey and sister Azamara Quest.  Azamara Cruises enables the passenger to experience the areas of excursion up close.  Where large cruise ships can’t enter some ports; the Azamara Journey and Quest can slip into some of the smallest ports.  This makes the ships world class travel vessels.   The deluxe ships offer an intimate experience, while allowing access to exotic destinations experienced travelers long to reach.  There are only 3 cruise dates left in October 2007 for Bermuda; however, Azamara Cruises presents the best of Bermuda and South America in 2007, elite Asia and the most captivating Caribbean, South America and Europe in 2008, and around-the-world voyages in 2010

Cruise to Bermuda and experience 21 miles of pure paradise.  Explore and enjoy the legendary pink sand beaches and crystal clear turquoise waters of Bermuda.  The island offers water sports (boating, fishing, snorkeling and swimming with the dolphins).  On this tropical island paradise you’ll find historical sights, more golf courses per square mile than anyplace on earth, beautiful botanical gardens, and, of course, fabulous duty-free shopping.  Located about 600 miles off the coast of South Carolina, Bermuda boasts a near-perfect year-round climate with spring, summer and fall temperatures almost always a comfortable 70 – 85 degrees and, unlike most Caribbean islands (which are hundreds of miles further south), Bermuda has no “hurricane season” to “drown-out” your dream vacation.

Depending on your specific cruise choice, you may visit the ports of Hamilton, St. George or Kings Wharf, Bermuda.  Enjoy some quick facts below about these great Bermuda ports:

Hamilton, Bermuda - Bermuda's capital city offers a taste of tropical ease mixed with British charm.  Enjoy some of best duty-free shopping in Bermuda along with island adventures such as snorkeling, glass bottom boat trips, Catamaran cruises and scenic bike tours.

St. George, Bermuda - Located on the far east end of Bermuda, cruise vacationers can walk the scenic cobblestone streets and enjoy great local shopping along with breathtaking beaches such as Tobacco Bay.

Kings Wharf, Bermuda - Enrich yourself in deep history as your stroll through museums, craft and art centers in this Royal Naval Dockyard. For those seeking more adventure, Kings Wharf also offers a snorkel park and water sport facility.

Complementing the exotic Caribbean and Europe itineraries for Azamara Journey and Azamara Quest, previously announced under the former "Celebrity Expeditions" banner over 200 ports to be explored -- most of them new to cruise travelers -- in over 70 countries.

While delving deep into the history and culture g with Azamara Cruises also will enjoy a more exclusive guest experience. Azamara Journey and Azamara Quest offer butler service in every stateroom and suite, as well as concierge-style amenities, including fresh-cut flowers, fresh fruit, Elemis toiletries, complimentary use of Frette cotton robes, two complimentary pairs of slippers, plasma TVs and plush European bedding.

Despite the ships' smaller size, each offers two specialty restaurants: On Azamara Journey, the Mediterranean-influenced "Aqualina" and the stylish steak and seafood restaurant, "Prime C." Guests staying in suites will receive two nights of complimentary dining in one of the two specialty restaurants, while guests in staterooms will receive one. The ships will not require formal attire for dining, and will feature open seating in the main dining room.

Azamara Cruises also presents a wine bar with a spectacular wine cellar;  offering wine and champagne tastings, seminars, and mini-pairings of food and wine, in addition to its standard menu of fine wines by the glass or bottle.

Azamara Journey and Azamara Quest offer an enhanced emphasis on spa and relaxation, with treatments many cruise travelers have never experienced. Guests in suites can enjoy certain spa services in the privacy of their room. Both ships also will offer an outdoor spa relaxation lounge and an aesthetics suite offering acupuncture, laser hair removal and microdermabrasion.  For luxury and the chance at exploration, Happy Traveling on the Azamara.
